The two Artist have collaborated on a piece for a raffle. Raffle tickets are $10.

The mission of the Jim Collins Foundation is to provide financial assistance to transgender people for gender-confirming surgeries. For many transgender people, gender-confirming surgeries are an important step in their transition to being their true selves, yet for many can be cost-prohibitive. The Jim Collins Foundation raises money to fund gender-confirming surgeries for those transgender people who need surgery to live a healthy life, but have no ability to pay for it themselves. On March 28th 2009, at The Warehouse in Hartford(45 Bartholomew Ave) at 7pm, some of Ct's most talented women will take the stage and take over the walls by participating in an event showcasing women artists.

This event is part of a new international celebration of women artists called SWAN Day (Support Women Artists Now Day) and is an annual event taking place on the last Saturday of Women’s History Month (March).

The show will feature comedienne Christine O'Leary as guest MC, Indie Soul Rockers Jennifer Hill and Co.,Magdelana lead singer of The Roxies,15 Year Old Guitar sensation Desiree Bassett, Sarah Lemeiux and the Super Blue Band, Alternative Rockers Eula, Maiiah "Serpent Dancer", The Shelley Valuskus Experience, singer/ song writer Kierstin Sieser,and local artist Kerry Kozaczuk will be painting live to the music.

These acts will be appearing onstage while offstage, artists of paint, photography, jewelry,sculpture, and mixed media will be showing their work to admire and to buy.

All The Kings Men Fundraiser

I'm donating some naked lady art to All The Kings Men of Boston, MA to help support fellow artistas. They paint pictures with their theater and movement rather than with paintbrushes and canvas (isn't that poetic and stuff?). Anyway, if I were better at stage theater, this is what I would do for a living, because like me, they make a TON of money from their creative craft.

I'll be around from 4pm until the show's end, so come to Bean town and say, "'Sup?".

I made this using MS Paint and a roller-ball mouse with gook stuck in it. I tried using a tablet once, but I became frustrated and threw it away. I guess growing up with MS Paint created a bias. (Does that make me sound old?)
